September 8-14 Greater Gainesville Chamber Gator Scavenger Hunt
The Greater Gainesville Chamber of Commerce announced its third annual Gainesville Loves The Gators Community-Wide Scavenger Hunt.
The scavenger hunt will take place from September 8-14. The Chamber will release clues on the Chamber’s social media platforms as 75 wooden alligators will be hidden throughout Alachua County at Chamber Member businesses.
Finders will follow the directions on their gator and upon completion will be entered into a drawing for prizes, including the grand prize: two season tickets and one parking pass for next year’s UF football home games, courtesy of UAA.

October 14 7:30 to 8:30 Count Dracula Live on the Lawn
Bram Stoker’s legendary tale of Count Dracula re-vamped and performed as a live “radio” play. Enjoy the cast performance as they tell the tale of the most famous of all vampires! Presented by the Driveway Theatre Project.
Bring your chair or blanket, picnic, and if you choose dress in costume for an early Halloween Celebration.
